8 Matrix Workshop

Content Planning:
For the 8 Matrix Workshop, Vayam Designers worked closely with the event organizers to understand the objectives and flow of the workshop. We focused on capturing not just the educational aspects but also the dynamic interactions among attendees and speakers. Our content planning process included crafting shot lists and storyboards to ensure we covered all key moments—from group discussions and keynote speeches to behind-the-scenes candid shots and hands-on activities.

Production:
On the day of the workshop, our photography team used a mix of wide-angle, close-up, and candid shots to capture the energy of the event, ensuring that we documented both formal presentations and informal networking. Our videography team captured seamless footage of the keynotes, panel discussions, and interactive segments, ensuring smooth transitions and engaging framing. We also used gimbals and strategic camera placements to bring movement and energy into the visual storytelling.

Post Production:
In post-production, we refined the photographs to maintain a crisp, professional look while emphasizing the collaborative spirit of the event. The video was edited into a highlight reel as well as shorter clips suitable for social media and marketing. We added branded graphics and synchronized the footage to create a cohesive narrative that showcased the event’s key takeaways and vibrant atmosphere.

Lessons Learned:
This project reinforced the importance of being highly adaptive in a workshop setting where time is limited and attendees are constantly engaged in various activities. We learned to capture both planned moments and spontaneous interactions with equal attention to detail, ensuring no key moment was missed. The collaborative environment of the workshop also gave us a deeper understanding of how to balance capturing intimate discussions and broader event contexts.
